Rev Prince Devanandan
Born and brought up in Sri Lanka. After high
school pursued theological education to be an
ordained priest in the Anglican Church of
Ceylon, Diocese of Colombo. Ordained to
Diaconate in May 1987, and to the Priesthood
in December 1988.

Arrived in Auckland in 1999 to study for M.Theo through St
John's College. December 2000 completed M.Theo at the
University of Auckland and returned to Sri Lanka.
Left Sri Lanka in January 2003 to serve as Presbyter in the
Waitakere Methodist Parish. Transferred to Trinity
Methodist Church Pakuranga in January 2008. Since then
serving as Presbyter of the Trinity Methodist Church. In
addition, from February 2009 serving as District
Superintendent of the Manukau District Synod of the
Methodist Church of New Zealand.
Married to Ramani in January 1989 and blessed with two
daughters: Devashini and Devanjali
Since then served in Parish ministry
for 17 years in Sri Lanka in urban and
rural parishes in various parts of Sri
Lanka. From 1995 to 1998 served as
Executive Secretary of the
Commission for Justice and Peace of
the National Christian Council of Sri
Lanka.
